I had the same problem like lots of people with graphic card of hp slimline. I had to find a graphic card which fits into the small case of slimline pc and also is compatible with lower power of power supply  and more important, it is able to run some decent games(modern warfare2, left for dead 2,...) and programs.  So after days of research i finally did upgrade my graphic to ATI Radeon HD 5450 (this graphic card is low profile) the price for this graphic card on ebay is £29.56 (for 512 mb). to see how it did improve my pc see photos. But I still suggest to change your power supply and you case.If you live in UK try to look for second hand pc case on gum tree. they come with good power supplies which do the job.

My computer ranking after inserting the graphic card (before it used to be 3.2 and i used to lag even during playing counter strike 1.6 now everything works smoothly even on big games)

if in any case you decided to get the normal power supply, you need to get a adaptor for your power supply 

what i found was that there are many adaptors from US but its really expensive to buy them so finally found this one that it sales them for £6.99 and postage and packaging to UK is also free . the only problem is that takes a bit of time for it to come cause it comes from china, but it worth waiting.
